Protocorinthian Aryballos Fragment

A fragment from the site of Al-Mina in the protocorinthian style likely from the base of an aryballos. The paint is badly worn, although traces of black can be seen on the bottom and on the scales.

Similar examples with better preserved decoration can be seen in the MET Museum (accession numbers: 07.286.38 and 23.44).
