Pursuer Remnant

A simple but terrifying subclass of Remnant, the Pursuer is among the most dangerous Caedomorphs. Upon reanimation, the Pursuer’s legs are strengthened with a tough, fleshy sinew; allowing them to reach speeds of up to 35 miles per hour. Moreover, the pain receptors, along with the rest of the brain, have completely rotten away; allowing the Pursuer to run at top speed without feeling the strain from doing so. In fact, Pursuers run so unnaturally fast that they completely wear down their feet. The Pursuer’s reanimated flesh is forced to constantly grow new feet to replace the old ones.

Much of the Pursuer’s surface mass has been melted away or repurposed elsewhere upon conversion, creating a very raw, fleshy exterior; most notably in the abdominal region. The influence of the scarlet idol has driven the Pursuer’s cellular functions into a catabolic overdrive, causing the skin to bubble in many areas.
