This model was created using images taken of a Pygmy mammoth’s foot uncovered on Santa Rosa Island. Now extinct, this species of dwarf mammoth typically ranged from 4.5 to 7 feet tall and weighed around two tons. …pretty tiny for an “elephant!” This information was gathered from the National Park Service.
