Initially this project started out as a simple one-to-one remake of the original Quark, from Doctor Who in the 1968 story The Dominators, but with better visuals. However, as I began working on it, I had the idea of redesigning it to make it more threatening and remove the flaws they had that made them an unimpressive “threat” in that original story, while still retaining that original design. I started to list off all the flaws with the original Quarks, then came up with solutions to fix them. -The legs have been replaced with tank treads to speed up traversal and to stop them from being pushed over so easily. -Their guns move on a rotationary sphere to allow better aiming. -The segments of their body that the guns are attached to can rotate 360 degrees, allowing them to aim in any direction as opposed to directly in front of them. -Their guns are permanently out removing time for them to flip out. -More directional spikes have been added to help with their traversal.

Overall, I’m very happy with this.
