More model informationReductive Structure is an experiential interpretation of the structural support of Scandinavian architecture. Visitors move through a framework of ‘columns’ and ‘beams’, at first strictly orthogonal, representative of modern construction methods, then constantly shifting to simulate the way Denmark’s aged wooden structures have settled over time. The experience invites viewers to consider the toll of time on our built environments, and the various conditions that may have caused the changes.
