9ft tall, 14 ton sculpture at City College of San Francisco. Imaged January 13, 2016 as part of a Photogrammetry Training Class
The head is a reproduction by Ignacio Perez Solano of the “El Rey” Colossal Head Number 1 sculpture found at San Lorenzo, Mexico in the 1940’s. A gift from the Mexican state of Veracruz, it was installed at City College in 2004.
This model was created using Photogrammetry and was not modified after the process (no hole filling, etc.) Only a bounding box for the region of interest was created. It is decimated from a higher resolution model.
