More model informationFragment of a Caen stone embattled moulding reused in the exterior elevation of the south wall of the south quire aisle of Rochester Cathedral. The provenance of the fragment is unknown, although Caen stone was used extensively throughout the mid-C12th redecoration of the cathedral and cloisters. The fragment features reddening, possibly from a fire in 1179.
