RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) interacts with the prodrug Remidesivir inhibiting the replication of Viral RNA and terminating chain elongation. The are many factors that coincide with the RdRp-Remdesivir interactions including base pair interactions, magnesium ion catalysis interactions, pyrophosphate interactions and Zinc ionic interactions. With futher understanding and research this drug shows a promising future for the solution of Covid-19.
