ESP Levantado en 1529, esta columna simboliza la capacidad de la villa para impartir justicia, lo que significaba que no dependía de ningún señor más que el rey. Aunque este privilegio fue concedido por Enrique IV en el s. XV, el rollo no pudo ser erigido hasta la primera mitad del s. XVI ya en estilo renacentista.

ENG Erected in 1529, this column symbolises the town’s capacity to dispense justice, which meant that it did not depend on any lord other than the king. Although Henry IV granted this privilege in the 15th century, the rollo could not be erected in Renaissance style until the first half of the 16th century.
