Rumah Gadang is the name for the Minangkabau traditional house which is a traditional house and can be found in West Sumatra, Indonesia.

This traditional house has a unique architectural form with a pointed roof that resembles a buffalo horn and was formerly made of palm fiber which could last for decade. The facade of the Gadang House is usually full of carved ornaments and is generally patterned with roots, flowers, leaves as well as rectangular and parallel planes.
