Rusty Oiling Can

A very rusty oiling can. Though its spout is completely clogged it’s still chock full of oil, some of which has managed its escape where the mechanism enters the top of the can.

This was one of my first captures and sadly misses some detail in hard-to-reach areas like between the handle and the can.

Photo’s captured with a home made cross-polarized setup on a Canon eos700d. Model reconstructed in reality capture. Retopology and uv’ing done in blender. Baking, color corrections and Roughness + metallic maps reconstructed using substance designer.
