Sarcófago cristiano en mármol blanco de Luni descubierto a finales del siglo XIX en la iglesia parroquial de Castiliscar, donde aun hoy se conserva. Por la iconografía -que simboliza las ideas de la fe y de la esperanza- y por el estilo se data en los primeros decenios del siglo IV (320-340 d. C.). Su origen primario es incierto, acaso procedería de San Román de Castiliscar, de Somavilla o del Cabezo Ladrero de Sofuentes, solar de una antigua ciudad romana.

Christian sarcophagus in white marble from Luni, discovered at the end of the XIXth century in the parish church of Castilliscar, where it is still conserved today. Because of its iconography, which symbolises the concepts of Faith and Hope, and of its style of composition, it is dated to the first decades of the fourth century (AD 320-340). Its origins are uncertain: it could have originally been in San Román of Castilliscar, in Somavilla or in Cabezo Ladrero in Sofuentes, site of an important urban centre of Roman Spain.
