The virus particle that transmits SARS Coronavirus 2, the cause of COVID-19. The biological details of this structure are described at the UKRI website Coronavirus Explained and can be visualised at the Getting to Know the Coronavirus subsection.

This model is constructed to accurately represent the size and quantities of all virion elements, based on current scientific literature. This model however does not contain a nucleoprotein and RNA core, due to file size limitations.
