More model informationRoman bowl with barbotine decoration. The dome-shaped bowl with moderately high indented rim has a beige body and brown matte coating. The outer surface is covered with two rows of arcaded, thickly applied barbotine. The arcs are relatively regular and correspond to the decoration of Lyon bowls, called “barbotine en arcades irrégulières”. The rim area and the lowest part of the outer wall are smooth. The inner surface is sprinkled with semolina. Ceramic; Dm 10,1 cm; H 5,2 cm; 30-60 AD.
