This is a very-low resolution model of the Scoglio dell’Aquila rock cliff, the original model has a mean resolution of circa 1 cm. It was developed using around 1000 photos acquired by a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone with a 48Mpix camera during July 2020. This fractured cliff is very interseting because is located close to the seismogenic Mt. Vettore Fault System, in Central Italy, which caused the 2016-17 Central Italy seismic sequence. A better understanding the fracture network of the cliff means a better understanding of the characteristics and history of the local geological structures, as the seismogenetic Mt. Vettore Fault System. For the explanantions of development, uses and outcomes of this model see Panara et al. (2022).
