Very pleased to have finally finished this piece and am fairly happy with the result! This project took me a little over a year as I’ve been working on it on and off, I was, however, able to see some visible improvement on different parts of the set due to working on it for so long, which was interesting. I tried to capture that same feeling of tranquillity I felt the first time I watched this music video and used the window as a way to combine multiple scenes into one composition as I really enjoyed the cinematography from the original :)

I used a combination of Maya, 3D Coat and Photoshop to create all the assets/textures for this piece, the choice/use of software was important for me in getting that hand-painted, illustrated look, which is what I was going for in this piece.
