Shako of the Duchy of Warsaw Infantry (c. 1810–1812)

This 3D model represents the characteristic infantry shako used in the Duchy of Warsaw during the Napoleonic Wars. Its tall, tapered silhouette, brass front plate, and striking plume were designed not only to protect the soldier’s head but also to enhance the regiment’s visual presence on the battlefield. The front emblem — the Polish eagle — symbolised loyalty to the restored Polish military tradition under Napoleon’s command. Decorative white cords and tassels indicate a dress or parade configuration, while the high green plume marks the company distinction.

Model 3D przedstawia klasyczną czapkę piechoty Księstwa Warszawskiego, jedno z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych nakryć głowy epoki napoleońskiej. Charakterystyczna, wysmukła bryła oraz mosiężna blacha z godłem – polskim orłem – podkreślały narodową symbolikę w szeregach formacji tworzonych u boku Napoleona.
