I observed that the basic shape of the tree trunk was a spreading S-shape. Hence, I designed an S-shaped chaise lounge chair which is similar in shape to a tree trunk. I try to create a relationship between the project and the tree in this way, to give visits a way to explore the relationship between man and nature. Moreover, the curved surface of the chair gives a large area of support and the size of the chair refers to ergonomics. This project has only a small area touching the ground, which will not cause much damage to the roots of the tree.
