Shell Pendant with Turkey Motif (13ML139)

Shell pendant with turkey motif. An image of a turkey cock is incised into one face; the other face is undecorated. The eye hole forms a suspension hole for the ornament. The pendant edge is notched. The notches and both faces are smoothed and polished. On the obverse side, there is evidence for drilling of another hole had begun.

This model is missing some of the bottom edge.
