This form was made through a design process of cutting each face in half, finding the midpoint and then connecting it to the corner. This was repeated for each face of the cube until I got the perfect design that I was looking for. I choose a white opaque plastic for my material because that is what works best for outdoor playgrounds. This design was made with the intent of only children being able to fit in the bottom area. If you look at the adult figure standing next to it, their heads just meet the top portion. You get in by either climbing the sides or finding a new path to get to the top. Furthermore, light travels inside through small slits throughout the design that are perfectly angled for the maximum amount of sunlight. Each child playing on the playground is given the proper six foot distance between each form. This allows for fun interactions, while still being at a distance.
