More model informationSquidV! A mechanical bow inspired by the now extinct, mythical squid. Modelled in Maya, high-poly sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter, rendered and composited in Blender.
The main purpose of this project was to learn ‘intricate modelling’, knowing when to model in detail and when to sculpt detail instead and baking with normals. The secondary purpose of this was to learn the basics of texturing.
