St Galler Globus

3D Model

This is the complete high res 3D reconstruction of the Copy of the St. Galler Globus at the Stiftsbibliothek St. Gallen. The original globus was stolen by Zurich troops in 1712 and belongs now to the Zentralbibliothek of the Zurich University. It is exhibited in the Swiss National Museeum SNM in Zurich. The 3D reconstruction here on sketchfab is a lower resolution version which is computed of 633 hi resolution images of 50mpix each.
