Low Poly 3D Visualisation of the early Mesolithic site Star Carr, Yorkshire, UK.

This model has been created as part of a Master’s dissertation on Digital Heritage at the University of York. The purpose is to explore non-photorealistic stylisations of 3D modeled reconstructions of heritage sites. In this case, the chosen site is an early Mesolithic site in Yorkshire called Star Carr. The site was inhabited by people over an 800-year long period, yet the evidence of their activities are scarce today. This reconstruction aims to shed light over, and create an interest in the everyday life in a less known period in human history.
