Posed mynock model, for putting on the outside of spaceships! Crazy how little of these we’ve seen since their debut in The Empire Strikes Back. For now it’s completely static, not rigged/animatable. But it still works great for sticking on a ship in a hangar bay. I’m surprised there aren’t more fan-models of mynocks out there, mine must be one of very few. This is fairly accurate to ESB, more so than most mynock illustrations.

Optional tips for use: The body and the wing membranes are 2 different materials, same textures. I recommend adding a little SSS to the body for the ‘whiskers,’ and adding some sort of translucency effect to the wing membranes (with the color map affecting the translucency if you want the veiny look), but those are optional. The wing membrane geo is single-sided- Either use a 2-sided material or add a very slight shell/solidify modifier to them if you are using them somewhere that needs thickness to render.
