The Sandcrawler is a beast. Over 20 meters tall and 43 meters long. I also have a version incl. interior in the catalog.
It’s not an exact copy of the scale model used in ANH. However, there were many crawlers left behind on Tatooine by the mining company. This could very well be another model made during that period, or one that the Jawa’s have customised over a period of time. A nice excuse, really.
It comes with a tiny amount of textures, and a pinch of vertices :) It’s quite detailed and can take some scrutiny from a relatively short distance. Suitable for renders and perhaps as a background item for you next SW show.

Here’s a couple done with this exact model:

@furminat Thank you very much for kind words! I’m looking at McQuarrie’s concepts as we speak (the first edition of prints from 77, Star Wars Portfolio), and the landspeeder looks a tad different from the one used on the set - full canopy bubble and wings. And Luke was a girl in that early concept overlooking Mos Eisly from a cliff. I’ve had the landspeeder in the back of my mind for a long time :)
This mesh and the version with the interior are just so insanely detailed! I've grabbed a few Jawa transports and yours are, by far the most impressive I've encountered. Many fans prefer the various fighters , capital ships or vehicles like the Mil' Falcon. But in 1977 (I was 14 at the time) when I saw concept illustrations by Ralph McQuarrie, it was the sandcrawler that really caught my attention. Here's this rusty "brick" the size of a multi-story office building, trundling across the sands and rocky cliffs by moonlight. It just clicked with me! Shoot, even with a low end rendering tool like Poser, this thing looks imposing!
Seeing what you've done with this, it would be fun to see would you could do with Luke's X-34 landspeeder! Yeah, there are s few on this site, but it's clear you have extensively studied technical drawings and screen captures to craft the most accurate recreations!
@TJSeraph_72 You’re welcome!
thanks so much for making this (and for sharing your skills/talent/model for free)...
@caleb.legrand11 Sure, it’s gonna be very simple
Easy peasy!
@tegnemaskin but liek can u also do a simple inside ong it would be so lit
@caleb.legrand11 Thanks! It’ll get a hall carrying the scavenged parts, a closable ramp, and a cockpit (simple one).
Nice you should def make a interior tho ong
