The Kouros of Reggio is a 90 centimeter high statue made of Paros statuary marble from the 6th century BC. BC (or perhaps older). It depicts a naked young man with a rather sculpturally shaped back. The statue’s legs are lost below the knee and her left arm and right forearm are missing. The stylistic analogies link it to Euboea - home of the colonists who founded Reggio. It propably shows apollo.
