More model informationA modern plaster cast of a section of the east side of Stela E depicting 12 glyphs. This section of cast refers to the stela being consecrated. It is bound and given breath and it is brought to life. This was done under the auspices of the scatterer (K’Ank’Tiliw). The glyphs then refer to it being sown, using the the maize god emblem, a maize kernel.
