More model informationCanmore ID 239761 ScRAP 1589 NJ 7168 0572 This boulder is amongst field clearance stones at foot of large electricity pylon close to the Sunhoney Recumbent Stone Circle by Midmar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. According to Canmore ‘this large grey granite boulder, which is situated amongst a scatter of field-cleared stones and boulders at the foot of an electricity pylon some 90m ENE of the recumbent stone circle NJ70NW 55, bears a single cupmark at its tip. The cupmark measures 40mm in diameter and 15mm in depth. ’ On inspection this appears to be a natural feature rather than a neolithic cup mark.
