More model informationThe T-34 and later T-55 “Big Wind” Tanks were developed by Hungarian engineers for the Kuwaiti oil fires in 1991 to extinguish particularly stubborn oil wells that were set ablaze by the retreating Iraqi military during the gulf war. Fitted with two engines taken from MiG-21s, large ammounts of water were injected into the jetstream to overpower the furiously burning wells. Over 43 days, Big Wind extinguished 9 fires.
This model is a recreation of the Big wind, made in Stormworks: Build and Rescue, for a discord server challenge of a firefighting vehicle.
