The following is a printable T90 tank which has 53 hours of work put into it. It came out of the early 1990s, when Russia was broke but still wanted a tank that didn’t look like it crawled out of the Cold War museum. BUT; RUSSIA BY A MISTAKE MADE ONE OF THE BEST, GOATED TANKS IN EXISTIANCE.
Where it came from
It started as the T-72BU, an upgraded T-72 with better armor and electronics. In 1992, Russia decided to rebrand it as T-90 so it didn’t appear like they were recycling a 20-year-old tank.
Key features Kontakt-5 ERA (Explosive Reactive Armor), which was a big jump in protection. 1A45T fire-control system, basically giving it a modern brain. Shtora-1 electro-optical jammer so missiles couldn’t easily lock onto it. Stronger engine: 840 hp, later bumped to 1000+ hp in upgrades.
Upgrades T-90A (2004): New welded turret, better armor, better thermal sights. T-90MS (2011+): Fully modern export version with new turret, digital systems, modular armor. T-90M “Proryv”: Russia’s newest version.
