This Tactile Pattern Chart-Patterns for BLV demonstrates patterns that can be used at the same time within the same map or object and still be recognized by BLV (note: relative to scale). The chart is part of the “Museum for Touch-Understanding Museum Exhibits through Touch – Towards Object Based Learning and Universal Access for Blind and Low Vision Children and Adults” research by Dagmar Reinhardt (The University of Sydney), Jane Thogersen and Eve Guerry (CCWM), Leon Holloway (Monash University), in collaboration with the Health Media Lab, USyd, Nextsense and IBOS Denmark.
