More model informationThis ca. 700 AD Tang Dynasty marble sculpture is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England. According to the exhibit label:
Groups of guardian animals and humans were placed on the burial grounds and mausoleoums of emperors and high-ranking officials. Arranged in pairs, they were placed at two sides of the ‘Spirit Way’, the path leading to the tomb.
It was 3D scanned with a Structure Scanner attached to an iPad Mini 4. The gray area on the right side of the Ram was caused by the shadow of the object label, which was edited out of this image.
