Progress update on a Zbrush sculpt featuring a Taung, the original and founding speicies of the Mandalorians.
With only two pictures of Taung available the back is artist interpretation. With the base scupt complete ,next comes a low poly base model with some retopology leading into a final pass in Substance Painter getting a texture on this guy.

This is really dope! Im a huge Mandalorian fan and I also cosplay a Mando Merc too. I also do a ton of Mandalorian stuff with Unity3D. Great job! Ill keep an eye out on your work and Ill credit you when/if I use your stuff for sure too. Please let me know if you ever texture the model up. Great job again!

@XeroChances thanks so much man. And if you want I have a list I can share with you of all the species I like that havent been made into figures. Mostly are pod racers and legends characters. Its about like mmmm 15?

@commanderChris27 already have the base model of the bust for Frenk done. Did you need the full body?
I really appreciate it man. But I also dont want to take advantage of you man. To be fair the future projects are only heads and smaller species. Ill give you a few if youre interested. And ill definetly compensate you for some if I can.
I mean, I’m more than happy to do whatever, At the end I get to create some cool works of art and it’s just more practise for me. And if you wanted to do commission, it will just be whatever it’s worth to you. There are so many interesting things to explore with Star Wars, it’s a great place to make art
@XeroChances me too! I really love Legends material and I was nervous to ask for the taung. Theres so many species's that I would want but mostly I just need their head. But yeah star wars is great in general.
Any and all I grew up around the movies but have always been a reader of the comics and legends material. I’m looking to work on the KOTOR series so here’s hoping I can land a position working on that.
