o Instead of an incisal ridge, this tooth presents a cusp ridge, divided into a shorter mesial cusp ridge and a longer distal cusp ridge. This happens because of the difference in location from the HOC on the mesial and distal (mesial is closer to the height of the cusp).

o The cingulum is very developed. It makes the canine wider buccolingually than mesiodistally, differently from the incisors.

o Longest root in the mouth, resulting in the longest tooth in the mouth.

o The root is broader in the facial and narrower in the lingual. It is also the broader buccolingually root in the mouth.
