More model information

The Baroness’ antechamber and bedroom, are both decorated and furnished in Gustavian style with some details of an older character Rococo style. So e.g. are the door tops from the middle of the 18th century, and the armchairs in the antechamber as well as the gilded console table between the windows are characterized by Rococo line play. The antechamber table is signed by Lars Nordin and the hammer piano by Pehr Lindholm, both in Stockholm. In the bedchamber, the main object is a pull-out bed with curtains of printed linen fabric (reprint after original in Stockholm Castle). The bed is painted in a reddish-brown color, which apparently wants to give the illusion of mahogany. On the cloth-covered dressing table, which is a reconstruction with the guidance of contemporary, cans and bottles of paintings typical of the time, stand in front of a simple mirror from 1794.
