This is our rendition of the legendary axe Keenfire, a blessed weapon that can smite demons and all other evil. Described in reports from the mysterious Outer Lands, where demons and other monsters roam, the weapon is crafted from the finest and rarest materials: the blade from the purest and toughest steel; diamonds encrusting the bit; runes and inlays filled with an alloy of every known precious metal; the spurs hewn from stone; and the haft sculpted from wood of the rare sigurdaisy tree. Finally, it had to be forged in the hottest furnace in Girdlegard: Dragon Fire. When the weapon is wielded by “the undergroundlings’ foe”, it will reveal its true nature: the runes will glow with the rage of the hottest forge and protect i ts wearer from all harmful magic, and enemies struck with the blade will be burned away to ash.
