A carved column capital at the entrance of a chapel in the north transept of Boyle Abbey (built 1161-80), depicting what is intrepreted as being a “Green Man”.
Photographs were taken in variable lighting using a Canon powershot G15, 1/80second @ f4.5, ISO 320. Some photos were taken with the camera mouted on a monopod to get the height to view to the carving straight on. shutter via Intervalometer script on CHDK.
