This project was a bit of a personal study i wanted to do based off of Sukhbir Purewals tree art. ( https://www.behance.net/gallery/77258297/Old-stuff ).

The idea behind doing this project was to help me overcome issues and fears i have in doing 3D art. the two biggest issues i always face are colour application, how to use colour and tone in an aesthetically pleasing way, and the second issue being how to apply my knowledge of stylised painting to further develop my skills.this study and project really forced me to go out of my comfort zone and further grow my stylised look i have been growing for years now. Through substance painter and doing study sessions of watching and playing stylised media in film and games (Ghibli being the biggest contribution) i was finally able to achieve a level of work i was happy with.
