More model informationThe Kid model for Bastion. We decided to use 3D models to quickly generate 2D sprite sheets for many of the games characters. This required a lot of shader tricks to help make the 3D models fit into the hand painted style of the 2D environments. Also, several elements like the hair and scarf used thousands of more verts than I’d usually do, so that the geometry looked more sculpted/painted.
