The last villager - City scene

The village had been falling into dissaray over the years, a slow decline, due to people leaving for a better life down in the valley. At last the time has come for the last resident to follow suit and leave behind his belongings, only taking with him what he can, a few bags. The wait is long as the bus seldom comes to these parts of the mountain, thus he returned to his house, waiting patiently, savoring the final moments of this place he called home for so long.
