The Skellerup Dolmen or Thorup Nord‐dolmen is a freestanding dolmen of polygonal form. The dolmen dates to Neolithic time – around 3.400 BC. It is located at Knebel Bro on Mols, eastern part of Jutland, Denmark and placed with a wide view over the Bay of Aarhus. After Google Earth it is placed on: 56°11’54’’N, 10°28’13’’E The chamber of the dolmen consists of five closely spaced orthostats. The dimensions of the chamber floor are 2 by 1.85 m. Height of chamber 1.2 m. Above the chamber a distinctive capstone, 2,8 m long, 2 m wide and 1,5 m thick, weight about 8 tons. Between two orhostats an 0.5m wide opening to the east.
