Asset for Cities Skylines. GAZ-21T “Volga” was developed at the GAZ plant in Gorky / Nizhny Novgorod in 1956-1970. In April 1962, GAZ carried out the modernization of the exterior (restyling) of the basic model of the Volga and, accordingly, its modification designed for taxis. In the period 1966-1970, the Volga GAZ-21 was the main model of a car-taxi in most cities of the RSFSR and the union republics (in some republics and regions, the Muscovites also served in the taxi). A single standard for the coloring of the taxi did not exist at that time - in the parks there were “Volga” different, mostly light colors. But the identification marks in the form of two stripes of drafts with the letter “T” on the doors, checkers on the hood and trunk were already used everywhere.
