Theresa S. Krause Tugboat

In 1952, Jakobson ShipYard built this 105 foot long tugboat. It was the strongest boat in the harbor for years and powered by a 645 EMD turbo with 5-1 gearbox. It switched owners over the years and in 1994, it was acquired by the Krause Marine Towing Co of Perry Hill, MD. The last captain on the tug was David Krause and the last engineer was his son, Austin Krause.

This model was captured on the dry docks of General Ship Repair located on Key Highway.
