Thor and the Midgard Serpent

At the end of time, when Ragnarok is coming, the serpent Jormungandr will escape its prison in the depth of the ocean. Thor, son of Odin, the all-father, is destined to fight this midgard moster. On this day, thunder will roll through the sky, the earth will sidder and waves will raise to destroy all. On this day the end of time wil come. On this day, the thunder god will die.

After 60 hours of hard work, and dedication, the scene is finally complete. I’ve really pushed myself to create as much detail and variety as possible. All the weapons, and most of the shields, the characters are all different. Everything has been touched by hand In an effort to reduce automation and create a most authentic work.

I had a lot of fun making this! And I really enjoy seeing the works of others.
