Thorn bug (Umbonia crassicornis)
Native to Florida and parts of Mexico. Considered a pest that can be found on ornamental fruit trees.
Fun fact: If the mother dies occasionally nearby females will “adopt” her offspring even at the risk of lowering their own offsprings chances of survival.
