The Thorn Root is a strange species of plant which mostly comprises of twisting root systems that occasionally have stems extending out the top that expose the pink bioluminescent fruits of the plant. It can be found in caves and near cave entrances. It is named so due to small thorns that can be found on the root to protect it from creatures that want to eat the roots, like houndeyes. This also means the proteuding fruits are protected, however, boids can still eat them due to them being flying creatures. iIt also grows in a strange way, because the seeds embed themselves in a shallow part of the ground, and the roots grow outside the ground, explaining why they are often so dry.
