More model informationThese rimsherds come from the same vessel, a small bowl or jar with a restricted orifice, recovered from below the cobblestone floor of a Terminal Classic structure at Nim li Punit, Toledo District, Belize. The scallop-like incisions are not very common, but there are examples in other Late and Terminal Classic pottery in southern Belize. These sherds were found associated with human teeth and bone, and may have originally been placed as a tooth cache prior to construction. Model made with Agisoft Metashape on 2 July, 2025.
