More model informationA test recording of the cupmarks found on fallen rear granite stone inside the Trevethy Quoit, St Cleer, Cornwall. Trevethy is a neolithic chamber tomb with a dramatically slopping capstone also known locally as the Giant’s House. Quoits such as this were constructed during the early and middle Neolithic period around 3700-3300 BC. They were used over long periods as communal tombs or ossuaries to house the bones of the ancestors.
Photos taken during Yule 2018. Cupmarks best viewed in matcap.
