More model informationA USAS-12 shotgun. A couple of smoothing errors popped up at the front when importing onto Sketchfab, but the actual model’s fine.
on 3 512x512 textures, I think (plus a 256x512 for the mag? it’s been a while).

I hate how the text is mirrored and backwards on the other side, would make it unusable for a VR game where you can actually look at the other side of your gun.
@bulletmancer I think his gun is available but not in this site, but yeah that's a good question to ask about being able to use the model in a non commercial project.
Do you have any plans on releasing this for download? I would love to add your weapon to my game and add you (& a link of your choosing) to the game's credits for it's inclusion
@FirearmsRetro I do! I don't have Max installed to post/update but I did do a drum version. I've been playing Anomaly, the Stalker mod lately, and (to my surprise!) they used it in there.
@Michael_LaFreniere Yeah, the font's mirrored as this was meant primarily for a few FPSs I was playing at the time where you'd have never seen the right hand side (and if you did, very quickly and not close up, for example the world model/in other players hands).
As for the other mirrored details - these are correct, have a look at photos and you'll see those parts are ambidextrous - it can be switched to eject on either side, and for the charging handle to be on either side.
Sorry for the late reply! I haven't done any 3D in years so just checked back in, ha.
do you have a Drum version/
i like it alot looks great but your font mirror backward and would only be one one side along with the ejection port the fire selector switch and the charging handle lead and they should only be on the right hand side. beautiful texture and amazing details tho great model. also u got the beat gun metal great to these guns were made by the Koreans in not so great numbers and were made with crap metal.
The reference images showed the metal to be kind of bumpy, so it's not really meant to be dents/damage - more like the bumpy metal. Does maybe look a bit odd though, I didn't exactly get it perfect.
Yup :P It was meant as primarily a first-person model so ingame you'd be lucky to look at that area for long enough to notice/care. If I did it again though I'd probably do it differently though :]
Did you notice that the texture on the other side is mirrored? :D
Having it that damaged + damage on the normal makes the metal look more like concrete rather than steel.
