3D dynamics of Tycho's supernova remnant

The three-dimensional dynamics of the Tycho’s supernova remnant have been here analyzed based on archival X-ray data collected by the Chandra Space Telescope. Innovative analysis methods were developed to generate the velocity vector field, as detailed in the article titled “A Fresh Perspective on the 3-D Dynamics of Tycho’s Supernova Remnant: Ejecta Asymmetries in X-rays” authored by Leïla Godinaud, Fabio Acero, Anne Decourchelle, and Jean Ballet, all affiliated with the astrophysics department of CEA Saclay near Paris.
